Which Interior Design Service should I choose?

If you are looking for a complete room visual, that is our Room Makeover Service. We have different price point options for that service depending if you'd like Julie, or one of our Virtual Designers. This service is priced per room type. Each room purchase will include a space plan, product links, a room makeover visual, and a 45 min presentation meeting with your designer.

If you’d like Julie’s exclusive advice on your space without visuals or a product list, a Design Consultation would be that option. It is a one hour organic conversation between you both without deliverables. However, you are welcome to take a screenshot of anything she suggests or draws during your meeting. 

If you are on a time crunch, our SOS Express Service is a wonderful option at Julie Jones Designs. You can choose between our Virtual Designer Amanda or Julie for your 3 hour design meeting scheduled within 2 weeks of purchase. You will come away from this meeting with a vision board and product links to immediately execute a design.

Which Space Planning Service should I choose?

Our space planning services are used to plan the layout of your space with a floor plan and elevations where needed. Our Space Plan by Square Feet service is based on your square footage. If you are looking to tackle the majority of your home or a floor of your home, this is the best option. It includes an initial consultation with our principal space planner to discuss your spacial needs and one revision of final plans.

Our Space Plan by Room service is a great option if you're looking for specific rooms to be space planned and trust our space planning expertise. This option does not include a meeting or revisions. However, we will communicate with you via email to learn your spacial needs and deliver a detailed explanation of our decisions. Prices are variable for each room type.

Do I get revisions if I don’t like my Room Makeover design?

The short answer is YES!
At Julie Jones Designs, we strive to deliver room makeovers that align perfectly with your needs and style. However, we understand that sometimes revisions are necessary to ensure complete satisfaction. That's why our service is unique where revisions can be made during your 45 min design meeting. This time allows for a presentation of the completed design and for any necessary adjustments.
Our designers utilize advanced Photoshop software, allowing us to swiftly make changes to the room design in real-time.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation of our unique method handling revisions. Our clients have found it personable and fun engaging in a live edit of their design. This approach also guarantees that the end result meets or surpasses your expectations. Your satisfaction is our ultimate goal.

Is my open concept space one room?

In order to best serve our clients, we have established a policy that considers open concept spaces as separate rooms based on their use. This policy enables us to offer fair pricing for all our clients. Each Room Makeover takes a considerable amount of our designers time sourcing the perfect products and creating a quality visual. By focusing on individual spaces based on use, our attention to detail remains consistent in our visuals and sourcing.

For example: An open concept Kitchen, Living space, and dining space would be considered 3 rooms.

We understand that identifying whether your space falls under the category of one room or multiple rooms can sometimes be challenging. If you are unsure if your open concept space should be considered as one room or multiple rooms for purchasing purposes, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Do we Design new builds/construction?

For space planning services, we can look at and revise a new construction plan that your builder or architect has drawn. However, for our Room Makeover service, we do need pictures of your actual space for our photoshop renderings.

Do you service clients outside the US?

Yes, we have serviced many international clients. If you are wanting to purchase our Room Makeover service, we ask for a list of online retail stores that you have access to for our designers to properly source furniture and decor for your home.

What if I don’t see a service I’m looking for?

We understand that each client is unique, and their requirements may vary. However, as of now, we remain focused on delivering the services outlined on our website. The detailed descriptions of our services accurately reflect what we currently offer. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause if your needs extend beyond what is mentioned.

Do you offer Exterior Design Services?

Julie Jones Designs does not offer landscape design. However, we do offer exterior design services from March to September. If you find yourself in need of exterior design assistance outside of our seasonal availability, simply fill out our contact form. Our team will be more than happy to discuss how we can help. Please note this service is for the exterior surface, backyard design, or patio of your home. We do not advise on plants or trees of any kind.
